The Ouse

Really good day today spoilt only by this sore throat/man flu thing that I can't seem to shake. Can't hear much and feel like I'm swallowing razor blades but I'm not one to moan. Got through a whole pack of antibiotics as well and still no joy.

Anyway, Stuart and Kellies today for Sunday lunch. Very nice too. This was our first trip to see them since he moved in with kel and I was pleasantly surprised by Bedford. Can't really say I have ever been before, only through it and it has a bit of a reputation but I must say we had a very picturesque walk down the extremely icey river followed by a pint or two.

Would have enjoyed it more but...have I mentioned my sore throat?!
