Northwest Flower and Garden Show

Is where I spent my time today. Got lots of ideas and wanted to come home and implement them all now. Since I didn't want to risk doing work only to have a February snow ruin it, I settled for getting some grass out of the landscape and resisted the urge to prune the lavender. Not quite time yet. Came home with a new orchid (not the one pictured), a shrub, and a rusted bit of yard art. Mission accomplished.

Dinner today is enchiladas with the Barbacoa I made yesterday. I sampled a little bit before it went in the oven and muy delicioso! It has been a successful culinary weekend here.
