Robin

There's usually a robin hopping around on the grass or visiting the bird table. He seems to like the leftover rice we sometimes put out for the blackbird. Today, for the first time, I saw two of them at the same time. I've seen the odd long-tailed tit around as well - perhaps they are becoming more common or perhaps they can't tell the difference between our garden and a wild habitat. Brother-in-law James came for a quick lunch before taking Mrs P off to Muir-of-Ord so took myself off to get flowers ready for tomorrow. Commiserated with another chap on the same errand. Inverness's new Asda is expected to open later this year so next year I shall be able to buy one of their very special cards.
