A Bit of a Lift!

Heading home from the garage this morning, I was amazed to see a helicopter hovering over the head of the bay. We quite often see them overhead, going to the oil rigs or taking folk to hospital in an emergency, but this was something else completely.

The chap on the shore is a freelance photographer and occasionally he gets the helicopter to fly him over interesting ships and to inaccessible places. I watched as the winch man came down onto the shore, togged him up and then the two of them were whisked away!

Luckily I had my camera in the car to photograph the photographer!
