Prostitute?

I wanted to run up to this young girl today and shake her, screaming - What were you thinking!!!?

Words cannot explain how depressing I find this. Do girls think this is empowering? funny? cool? Do they think about it at all?

There seems to be a real reluctance amongst many young women I've met at university to identify themselves with anything as 'weird' as feminism - Why?! What do they think it means I wonder? I think they really don't know (or care) - it's very bewildering.
