Hanging in there

I've spoken of the lousy weather we have had all of February, cloudy day in day out. Well today it finally tipped out some moisture and I am ever so hopeful that it may clear the air finally and we can have some late summer weather as we should.

It seemed appropriate that I should blip a huge raindrop hanging on between a rose bloom and a bud.

Had a good long yarn to our son Aidan last night, he is doing OK, ever so slowly - has to become a couch potato for a week with his leg up high. He said the wound looks really "manky" - back to his GP tomorrow to check it and the progress. He is taking 12 antibiotics a day, two different types and the crazy thing is half of them he has to take on a empty stomach and the others with food - he is finding this really difficult.
