Peeler Crab.............

I hope you all appreciate how wet and dirty i got while i was getting down to eye level with this guy..........

He wasn't the biggest or most aggressive crab i've ever seen, but at least he sat still while i clicked away.......

He does look bigger here..........

I think today was the first time i've ever rummaged around in a rock pool, well it wasn't actually a rock pool, i simply kept turning over clumps of seaweed until i found today's blip........

I'd waited until it was about an hour and a half past high tide, so the seaweed at the highest point of the mud flats was still wet, hopeing the resident wildlife hadn't followed the water further out into the harbour.
