Ready to Go!

Katie's been fabulous today. Here she is, ready for the off. This was the last time that she left old house. She got up to find not many of her things still there, but didnt grumble at all. She played with what there was, watched the only remaining DVD and got happily ready. She asked to go for a walk in the snow, so we had a little walk up the street, stomped in it, jumped in it, sat in it, a while, before I took her to nursery.

She's been so good with nursery this week, she's been tearful in the mornings but has had a lot of fun in the snow. They've been out twice a day, building gigantic snowmen, sledging and snow angels, the works.

When I picked her up, I took her to play with Ava, which she was seriously excited about. Apparently they sat at the table having a proper big girls conversation, chattering away and eating everything in sight. Katie lay down in the spare room and went to sleep at bedtime without batting an eyelid. I got her just after 10. She slept in the car, but as we got to the new house, she woke up. She spent 2 hours exploring and acquainting herself a little before announcing "this is Katie's new house. Like it new house".
