Summer meadow

I've looked at these meadows for a while now and finally tonight, I detoured on the way home to look at them more closely.

I think they're full of Queen Anne's Lace aka Bird's Nest aka Bishop's Lace aka Wild Carrot.

A couple of weeks ago in Golden Bay I actually picked a bunch of meadow 'weeds' and put them in a vase. Displayed like this they're certainly not weeds. I didn't pick any today though - just enjoyed the wild randomness of the meadow for a few minutes.

Tired tonight = bed early-ish.
