No it's not a dinosaur

This is a fossil skull on display in the small Karoo town of Nieu Bethesda. These fossils pre-date the dinosaur era and are estimated at 253 million years old. I had an unusual feeling standing there looking at the fossils and the models of the animals and realizing how little I know outside of my immediate life.
