Some things in life have a time to shine, to be noticed and loved. Holly has Christmas for this.

After the time of major shining it often fades to the background, people forget about it and move on until next year when it steps back into the lime light. But it isn't gone. It still shines throughout the year, quietly in the background.

Shining quietly in the background sounds more appealing to me anyway.
