Grave Errors

My seven year old and I went on a bit of a magical mystery tour this afternoon to track down the graves of some long deceased family members. We drove in to Deansgrange Cemetery and he was amazed at the sheer size of the place. (He later asked in the office how many graves are in the place, the girl couldn't say but did say there were 144,000 bodies buried there.) We found his dad's parents grave quite easily and he went over and kissed the headstone.

Then I decided to go to the office and locate my great-grandmother's grave from 1971. I only had her name and the rough year. The ledger came out and the official ran his finger down a handwritten list - it felt all a bit like the BBC programme "Who Do You Think You Are?". U19 St Nessan's over the far side near the wall.
