Tib Street, Manchester, used to be rather seedy and came with a warning. The last 20 years have seen a steady and gradual gentrification take place so that now the area is populated by arty bars and studio apartments.

Not much evidence remains of its former self but, if you seek, ye shall find - just about. Lotions, potions and pills anyone?
