Kia-ora Royale

My lovely valentine, MrsCyclops, with her glass of Kir Royale at Le March Francais, scene of our dinner this evening. We thought we had something else on so going out was a last-minute decision but it turned out to be a lovely evening (don't tell her, but she's my favourite...).

On the way home in the taxi we debated whether to have some more of the Champagne we were drinking before we went out, and she said that she had acquired a taste for Kir Royale, but also fancied a nice glass of orange squash. Thus was invented our new signature cocktail - "Kia-ora Royale". We didn't actually try it, but we're pretty sure it would be awesome...
