Carbon - Nitrogen - Oxygen - Water
This is the second attempt at a blip. The first one suddenly decided that an "error has occurred" and sodded of in to the ether.
Arses!
This is a blip of one of my lovely compost bins. They look (literally) rubbish at the top but what comes out of the bottom is a thing of wonder. Two bags of it mixed with two sacks of shredded bramble mulch and added to a knackered raised bed made a salad crop powerhouse last year. I'll be doing the same this one and adding some nematodes for the slugs. I refuse to buy slug pellets.
As any decent gardener will know, compost is essential. Any that one can make oneself (or rather allow the bacteria, fungi, invertebrates, amoebae and worms to make it for you) means one needs not buy as much PEAT FREE* compost from the DIY emporium.
When I'm in the garden I leave the lid off my bins and delight in watching the robin take his pick of the creepies therein. It all seems so natural - which it is; and that makes me happy.
*peat free because if you buy peat compost, you are a fool.
