Assynt Games Day....

Owen became the second member of his family to compete in the track events at the local highland games today. Jenna, his cousin, took silver in the Under 10 girls 80 yard dash (no metric nonsense in Lochinver) and bronze in the sack race, and Owen came a credible seventh from eleven in the Under 10 sack race.......not bad for a seven year old.....best of all he loved it!!

BTW.....yet another day of bright sunshine whilst the rest of the country is getting rained on good and hard......??
