Beginning of a photo a day?

Well after thoroughly enjoying Anth's blipfoto page (link to come) I thought I'd start my own.
Today (yesterday) has been valentines day and what a lovely one it was. Spent all day with my fiancée Cairistiona followed by a feast in the evening.
Still feeling a bit run down but I suppose a mountain of Uni work does that to you.

For a change and because I am useless at drawing I decided to practice some sketches of birds so that my field notebook looks somewhat acceptable. The first attempts tonight were pretty atrocious but I've attached some that actually pass as birds. Hopefully with some practice I'll be able to draw passable examples in the field.
