Gas holder, New Southgate

Gas holders were used to store natural gas at the right atmospheric pressure. I recently blipped the big dipper in Brighton and the two structures appeal to me because they are so large and dramatic, but there is a delicacy to the design in the latticework and something in the construction that reminds me of meccano.
