Unanounced Orange March?

Well, a friend and I headed to Whitburn so she could try out some shoes in a wedding shop there. We were on our way back, and halfway down the street, when these guys turned the corner and were headed our way. Cue a shot at reversing the car halfway down the main street and having to parallel park at the top. Aren't they meant to close off roads for this sort of thing!?!

I've never been around these marches before, and they're certainly loud. I snatched this shot out the car window with my mobile, my camera was in my bag in the boot and I didn't fancy getting out and running round to get it once the pubs had all emptied and folk were out cheering. Meep!
