Invernaculo, Parque Santa Teresa

The invernaculo, or conservatory, is part of the Parque y Fortaleza de Santa Teresa which also has the Fort of Santa Teresa, built in 1762. Inside the conservatory is a selection of native bromeliads, orchids, vines, and other plants. Outside is a cactus garden. In front is a lily pond with papyrus. A museum showing the history of the fort and surrounding area, and other buildings are in this area.
