St. Andrews suspension bridge.

The St. Andrews suspension bridge was built in 1854-55 to replace the busy ferry taking workers from Bridgeton and Calton to Hutchesontown. Wrought iron with a single span of 67 meters. Repaired in 1870, 1905 and 1996-98.

All info courtesy of the plaque at the bridge.
