Housing For Birds

This is a real snapshot from Hasbruch forest near Hude. I saw the Great Tit flying towards the house and thought I'd try my luck. I think it's quite funny despite the twigs in front of it.

The house looks as if it was made from eternit panels. The stuff really lasts for ages, it just starts looking more mouldy and mossy from year to year. I wonder when the house was put there, and by whom. Do they still care for it?
