Rhododendron
We took ourselves over to Gargunnock House near Stirling today to see their snowdrop display. While there were thousands and thousands of the wee beggars, they are a bit difficult to photograph, especially en masse. Too much white, maybe.
Gargunnock House is a pleasant old house of Georgian appearance but based around a very much older core. The grounds are extensive and well worth a visit if in the area. As well as those snowdrops, we spotted crocus, aconite and helllebore in bloom and this amazingly early rhodie. Perhaps that is a sign of a good spring and summer - fingers crossed!
