Village chefs

This is the first post of a series of backblips documenting our trip to Thailand and Cambodia in December, 2010. Our first adventure was a 3-day hike into the mountains staying two nights in remote villages. We had two guides (they added a second when they found out we are in our 70s!) who are seen here preparing our dinner in the "advanced" kitchen of our village hosts. Needless to say there were no electricity, gas, water or other services. We has stopped earlier to buy food in a wonderful market, and the results were excellent.
