Frozen moonscape

This shot was taken somewhere in the Arctic Circle - either in Norway or Finland, I don't know at this stage...

I went on a quest to see the Northern Lights and this is night 1. It was an interesting experience of being picked up at 6.30pm in the very cold, very windy weather and then driven around in a mini bus 'chasing' the lights... Arrived back at the hotel at 3am, tired and cold and a little disappointed.

This is the result of a cloudy night with not much Northern Light action... but I was not to be put off.
