Beware of geeks wearing shifts

My daughter with her new fandom T-shirt (that's Peter Davison's Dr Who costume in case you were wondering). Sorry about the pixel blur but I would be in trouble at home if she were identifiable.

Portraits taken under incandescent light have been a tad too magenta -- which is probably a function of my camera's incandescent WB and my living room's halogen bulbs. The pixellation doesn't help with showing this of course so you'll have to take my word for it, but adjusting the camera's incandescent WB setting by +2 green & +1 amber has produced a much more pleasing result.

Try experimenting with tuned white balance -- it can reap dividends.
