Heads down.
'Fraid its a flowers day today. After yesterday's excitement it was back to the humdrum of a normal working day and home again in the dark. Never mind. The daughter just let me know that her supervisor to be is keen on her ideas for a research project, that she's passed her theory test and that she's coming home on Friday. (Bribed her with a curry out in a nice restaurant in the Ferry).
Away to chill now before tomorrows workload begins to encroach on my mental processes. Hopefully an early night tonight as well. I finished off valentines by letting the dog out into the garden before I went up to bed at 11.00. By 11.30 he hadn't come back so I asked the man to get me a torch to go and look for him (not a huge garden - just very dark - and a very deaf dog). When said torch made its way through the door opening so did the cat, so I ended up half way up a tree trying to grab him as well. Needless to say the commotion brought the dog back and driven on by the thought of a midnight romp around the garden, I quickly apprehended the cat too. Was still midnight before I got to bed though. Hopefully no repeat performance tonight!
