A browse up Dent

A nice bit of fresh air heading up to Dent summit and back home in a comfortable couple of hours,the Sun showed its self briefly as it sank behind the clouds.

Dent is very popular in the summer and autumn with the Coast to Coasters and you can meet people from all over the world on this simple little (but steep) hill. Last year i guided the ex Vice Chairman of the Bank of America and his wife who were stranded on the summit in thick mist down to there next section of the walk. Amongst there buissness ventures he explained they were in Real estate and sold up just in time before everything went down hill(pardon the pun) Talk about Luck.

To the east on a clear day you can see the highest land in England (Scafells) and to the West Isle of Man and the South West of Scotland . Some say you can even see Northen Ireland but i have always been doubtful about that one
