...Josephine and her "coat of many colors?" If it isn't, then clearly it should be. Have you ever seen such a colorful coat on a dog? I asked Rose, who was walking Josephine and another little bichon, if it was hard to get them into their coats. Apparently not. She said she velcros them in with a strip of velcro down the back, and she is not so concerned about keeping them warm as with keeping them clean.

Gulliver came home from the park with mud all over his paws and legs today. Maybe I should ask Rose to create a coat to help keep him clean. Somehow I can't see it. A springer spaniel like Gulliver would be much too dignified to wear that colorful coat. Bichons are so cute, they can get away with anything.
