I've seen enough Dr Who
to know that it's all to do
with the Space-Time Continuum
and with a tear
in the Wall Of Time
or something but I swear
that for one split second
that jogger was there
and then he wasn't.

He disappeared
into the lamp post.

He'll be in another dimension now,
a parallel world, where
Daleks are attempting to exterminate him
or Cybermen are trying to turn him
into one of them
while the Doctor and Amy Pond
(bring back Billie Piper)
run themselves into the ground
as the plot unfolds
and we're left thinking
we've understood it but are, in fact,
none the wiser.
