The Pyramids of Teotihuacan
Mateus and I went out to see the pre-Hispanic city of Teotihuacan today, which was simply amazing. The place is simply huge, just like the breathtaking pyramids (The 3rd biggest pyramid in the world is the Pyramide of the Sun, which you can see in the picutre). After all our brave and sportive activities during the day we rewarded ourselved with tasty Tacos and maybe a little bit too much Tequila in our favourite bare around the corner of our house ;-)
So far this has been a good week. I would belying if I said that my classes are all that exciting, but the boredom I sometimes experience there is compensated by the things I do in my freetime-like Tango and Salsa classes :-)
Tango class was funny, because since there is a clear lack of men in the class they make me dance as a guy most of the time because of my height (!) - and yes, I am sort of a giantess here people ;-)
Salsa was a LOT of fun and I am very much looking forward to my next class.
Also I am experiencing at the moment what it feels like to miss about 3 places at the same time..veeeery interesting.
Talking about emotions: I watched this really good film about global water issues on Tuesday which is called "Flow":

At some point of the film I couldn't help but cry, because sometimes the injustice in this world and the way how profit is seemingly more important than people still makes me sad and angry. I am reassured once again that my thesis will be about water issues.
