A blue tongue at Doune Castle
This sort of sums us up. February half term. Louis has just bought some trick sweeties that turn your whole mouth blue, then we go to Doune Castle but it's shut because (a) we're rubbish at reading the Historic Scotland small print and (b) it's becoming painfully apparent that Scotland's heritage industry is a complete joke. Nice castle to walk round, though. Oh yes, and Doune Castle is of course more famous for the fact that Monty Python and the Holy Grail was filmed there than for anything else.
