Paws for thought

Giant cat dozing.

This creature will shortly be coming to life, awakening slowly and with one thing on his mind... food.

Mostly likely his first choice will be a portion of the fishy variety of As Good As It Gets as preferred by Felix the cartoon cat. Fellow cats owners will be knowing which one that is. Not bad when on special offer but can be pricey when not.
Who's counting the pennies? Well Jakey's not, for sure.
Is he not a lucky cat?

Jakey has had an extremely lazy day today. Sleeping for just about all of it, storing up energy reserves and enthusiasm for one of his imminent all night forays into the woods.

A day of leisure tomorrow for me (and Jakey too!)... ie no work in the picture and all attempts at persuading my son into thinking that he really does want to see the new Muppet film tomorrow are failing miserably. I almost had him convinced but then he changed his mind. It helped a little when I had the bright idea of inviting his friend along, in order for them to both throw derision and scorn at this film, but unfortunately his friend is booked to go visit a military museum in Liverpool tomorrow. Hmmm, wouldn't be my choice, but there you go or at least there he goes.

I have a feeling that this Muppet film thingy is something of an age thing.

Do you want to go see The Muppets if you are 12?
Answer - no.

Do you want to go if you are quite considerably older?
Answer - Ooh, er... yes, please!

I think Animal is probably my favourite....
