It has been about 15 years since I last went to a football match. The little huddle in the 'city' seats are the 100 intrepid Valencia fans who travelled to this damp patch of Staffordshire to see their boys win. Oh well.
The Stoke fans are renowned for being the loudest in the League, and sing, for reasons known only to themselves, a rousing version of Tom Jones' song Delilah. Sadly an accident on the motorway meant we were a bit Kate to the match, so missed it.
