Light
When I opened the shutters this morning I felt almost blinded by the light, unused to its strength after a week in the paler light of Wales. I'm getting used to it again quite quickly, though, and I feel so much better, so much livelier, when it's like this. After yesterday's speed, a slower day, unpacking, shopping in the village shop, chatting with friends in the street and trying to persuade my mind back into working mode.
I've blipped this balcony and niche with its shy Mary several times - today it was easy as it's quite near my house, and I was pleased to see the sunlight now reaches down to balcony level after the weeks of winter shade.
