It is Friday!

This is Jim Collins on tenor sax at Burgundy's last night in the Freddie Garner Quartet from Stockport. You can listen on utube on which Jim is playing his alto sax - an instrument that looks really classic and old and Jim's fingers are a blur! It make me wonder about the complex messages that go from his brain to his fingers! The figure in the background of the sketch is Freddie himself on keyboards. Also with us last night was Sue Parish that I had painted many years ago but unlike the sketches I do at Burgundy's, I had painted her from a photograph so there is much more detail. She still has that mesmerising red hair!
