Treated myself to an easy blip this lunchtime (oh dear!). I'd spotted this beautiful vase at the Chambers Street museum the last time I was there and I was torn between blipping it and what I actually didblip). So today, I got my chance!
It's a copy (made by Wedgewood) of the Portland Vase, which, according to the display, is the most important piece of Ancient Roman cameo glass in existence. Here's a link that gives details of the original.
This evening I will be mostly eating take-out and watching Star Wars on Blu-Ray. YAY!
