I've been waiting to go to St Marys Lighthouse in Whitley Bay for weeks and the weather report looked promising - it was better than that, it was perfect! Inspired by an artical I read by Chris Weston in Outdoor Photography where he keeps going back to a lighthouse, I wanted to take a collection of shots in the same vein.

They were all great shots but this one just blew me away - I cannot stop looking at it. I think I know what they mean when someone says they have found their muse.
