Old Money!

Although my paternal grandfather was a staunch socialist, a saying of his was "it taks gelt tae mak gelt!" (It takes gold to make gold)
These two coins have been passed down now for three generations and will almost certainly be passed to the fourth and most possibly fifth.
They are among a small collection of odd coins collected over the years, some in reasonable condition and some impossibly worn.
The weather forecast for tomorrow is not inspiring, to say the least! Its the weekend so do have a good one wherever you are.
