Prawns' trousers

Prawn curry for supper. Peeling the prawns is a complicated sorting job. Heads for the bin, peeled prawns for the curry and the shells, affectionately known as the prawns' trousers are for the dogs.

The canines have their treat after we finish supper and it will be a chance for Jonty the rescue dog to perform his new skill. It's taken him four and a half months to be able to sit on command. Now that he can do it we realise that he simply wasn't psychologically ready before now. For a dog to sit down he has to give up the 'ready to flee' position. Our nervous boy now feels confident enough to sit for a few seconds. Bravo mon brave.
