Green door

There was some stuff yesterday around Bonzo Dog and Mike Oldfield that got me thinking while I was walking the dog!

Shakin Stevens did something grim called behind the green door in about 1981 that I have dug out on youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yfo7xRziOmM. Not in the same class as 'The Monster Mash' but....

Anyway these green doors are awesome. This shed was used to build torpedo boats in the second world war. It is derelict and sad but they are green 'ish and they were doors.

The barge in front is seventy foot long and there is actually a canada goose in the shot that shows just how large these doors are.

Again colours and decay are obvious as the building gradually disappears. The amazing thing is hat these doors are actually listed architecturally but sadly no chance of being saved
