In a spirit of generosity yesterday I bought these socks in Sainsbury's.

Sport relief? Good idea.
Half the selling price to said charity? Very generous.
Fairtrade Cotton? Excellent.

So what possessed me to take size 9-12 CHILD SIZE?
Do you think I can exchange them for something more suitable?

On a better note, today we booked our ferry transport to Shetland for the geology field trip at the end of May. We have also arranged when to meet our friends from Switzerland who will be, quite by coincidence, in Shetland at the same time.
