Light sculpture - Glasgow

Princes Square is the premier designer shopping centre in Glasgow, a showcase of the best that the city can offer.

As a journalist on The Herald this used to be a popular watering hole of mine. But then I went to Glasgow School of Art and I left all that behind.

Today I popped in out of a sense of nostalgia .

I was struck by this amazing light sculpture with its constantly changing colours and by the sense of space.

Until I realised that the extra space was a result of a number of closed shop units and the lack of people.

Changed times.
