Wine Country

Took a wine country tour today. I was the only person in the group who wasn't coupled up or travelling with friends, and I tend to be shy in groups, so it was a little lonely at times. But I did get brave enough to talk to a few people, and even when I was on my own I still had fun. Napa is just so incredibly beautiful! And after a long day of van travel and wine drinking, we took a ferry boat back to the city - another new (and amazing) experience for me!

It was really hard to choose a picture to blip for today, since I got so many breathtaking shots. This one came from the Andretti (as in Mario Andretti) Winery around 10am. All day long I was completely in awe of the landscapes, the scent of the flowers...it was a magnificent day. When I got back, I had just enough time to climb to the top of Lombard Street and walk down before the sunset. I did it in 3-inch heels, too! I feel a little pathetic being in my room in my pajamas at 7:30pm, but I had to get up at 5:30 to catch the trolley this morning, and my feet are KILLING me! Can't wait to see what tomorrow has in store. I absolutely love this town :)
