York Minster

Visited York Friday afternoon (blipping this Sat morning) and of course went to see the biggest landmark of them all - the York Minster.
The Minster is the second largest gothic cathedral in the world, and it was not only gigantic, but gorgeous as well. I strolled the huge cathedral for an hour, and then climbed the 257 steps upp a tiny, winding, stone, spiral staircase up the 60 meter high central tower. My legs were rather tired at the top, but the view was worth it!
After tea at Betty's I left for Edinburgh by train, but I'd really like to go back to York and see more of the town some day.
