13 kg Snapper

Well actually it was over that, but this guy won the biggest snapper prize at the fishing competition that my family were in today. The Husband also went out yesterday, but it was only grown ups on Friday.

Our biggest snapper was 2.2kg, so this guy put us well and truly to shame. He's a local chap, who the Husband sees on the ferry. There's a nation wide competition, and only 2 more heats to go, and at this stage, this guy is leading.

We had a fab day...a little bit too hot and still at times which left the Eldest and I a bit ill. But everyone caught something. The Husband won a smoker, the Eldest won a rod and bait catcher, and our friend's daughter (they own the boat we stowaway on) won a kayak worth nearly $900!
