Herbal

At the beginning of every term we have a staff training/outing day.
Today we went to the Ecology centre in Fife for a guided herbal medicine walk.
It was absolutly fascinating with our guide pointing out all the native species that are used in herbal medicine and indeed conventional medicine. She told us a wee bit about the folklore surrounding the plants.
It is a wee bit dippy hippy but worth a visit as the grounds and walkways are open all year round all day and its free.
