Grainy images

We had an old laburnum tree taken down today, and this is a picture of a cross section of it.

I'm now going to spend the rest of the day working out what I can see in it...so far I've got a one eyed penguin, a pouting frog with long eyelashes, a child and a snail, and that's without the aid of a glass of red.

The timber is going to a wood-turning friend - so I'll be interested to see what he gets out of it all. It should keep him occupied for a while...
