The niblings helped me harvest some potatoes and carrots for tonight's dinner. Delicious along with some medium-rare roast beef with a faint hint of garlic (also from the garden).

Luckily K is not quite old enough to worry about her nails yet.

You really can taste the difference in home-grown carrots. I'm not so convinced on potatoes, but they are awfully satisfying all the same.

The Village Flower Show is next weekend - I think the spuds and carrots will be getting entered, but the onions are a bit of a disaster this year...
