Closer's better.

House window in Perpignan

I'ma bit nuts about windows and shutters.
I shudder to think how many pictures I've taken in France of shutters and doors and house-fronts.
This one is a fairly unusual combination of colours, which is what caught my eye.
Mostly you can't get square-on to windows, usually because they're high up, or just too close, and they tend to end up with hopeless angles to them. I use Photoshop Elements to square 'em up. Good old Elements; it's ten years old, my version, and still doing the job.
This was our first full day in Perpignan. We'd booked it expecting to have fairly balmy weather. You know, thinking about sitting outside drinking coffee... That wasn't to be. I was wearing fleece-lined trousers, and the locals were done up in skiing gear. Still, it was bright.
